Taking part in the Age 4 years survey

We surveyed families when children were around 9 months, at 2 years, at 3 years and will continue to follow them up over time when the children are 4 and 5 years old. This is an important time for us to understand how children are developing, and the factors that help them, eventually, to be ready for school.

This stage will be an online or telephone survey.

The Age 4 survey will include questions about:

• Who lives with you
• Your child’s other parent
• Your child’s health and development
• Your home environment
• Your childcare arrangements
• Your use of services
• Your health and wellbeing
• Your employment situation
• Your contact details
• Reminder of the Babysteps app
